CONSTRUCTION PAUSED FOR WINTER SEASON!
Starting as early as Friday, Oct. 25, construction on southbound SR-36 between Sunset Lane and Stansbury Parkway in Tooele County will pause for the winter season. During this time, all traffic control and equipment will be removed from the project area, and no active work will take place. Work will resume in spring 2025.
WHAT TO EXPECT SPRING 2025:
- Nightwork Monday through Friday
- Temporary lane closures
- Minor travel delays
- Increased noise, dust, and vibration
| Construction on Northbound SR-36 Starts Next Summer |

| Starting in summer 2025, crews will begin widening northbound SR-36 between Sunset Lane and Stansbury Parkway, improving and resurfacing intersections, and adding an auxiliary lane on eastbound I-80 from SR-36 to the SR-201 exit.
