The animal shelter no longer accepts owner surrendered dogs or cats. Animals to be impounded will only be accepted through Animal Control and/or Police Officers. Residents need to report dangerous animals or strays to dispatch at 435.882.5600 OPTION 1.

Impounded Animals are handled by Tooele Veterinary Clinic. Impounded animals are held for atleast 5 days before they are placed for adoption (unless they are injured/suffering). If your animal is missing please contact Tooele Veterinary Clinic. Impound ($15.00-$40.00) fees and licensing fees ($15.00-$35.00) must be paid in cash. Other required fees will apply that can be paid by credit card/cash (microchip, vaccination, boarding).
