CONSTRUCTION PAUSED FOR WINTER SEASON!
Starting as early as Monday, Feb. 3, crews on the SR-36 & I-80 Improved project will resume construction to widen southbound SR-36 between Sunset Road and Stansbury Parkway in Tooele County. Construction is anticipated to continue through summer 2025.
WHAT TO EXPECT :
- Daywork Monday–Saturday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Daytime lane closures until 1 p.m., as needed
- Minor travel delays
- Increased noise, dust, and vibration

| Starting this summer, crews will begin widening northbound SR-36 between Sunset Road and Stansbury Parkway, improving and resurfacing intersections, and adding an auxiliary lane on eastbound I-80 from SR-36 to the SR-201 exit.
